Gifting ranks through links?

Apparently, I won some kind of contest and was told to add some rando on discord for further details about my prize. I added them and they sent me a link, the link does not have any of the suspicious scam link signs in it, it has the normal https, and the other part of the url is hypixel.gift followed by mvp-plus-rank, and then a string of numbers which I am not going to post cause I think that would be considered sharing links which I don't think is allowed.
The link looks official enough, though I do not want to open it and have my pc explode on me or something, so is it an official gift link or just a creative scam?

Thats a scam, if you look at the website its not an actual Hypixel link, hypixels website is hypixel.net

The only way to be gifted is through the book gui in game, in a lobby, anything else is not to be trusted.
