Hello everyone! We're happy to see the continued love for Disasters after its February update, and we want to keep the game fresh, fun, and free of bugs. Today, we're bringing you a small patch with some quality of life features, bug fixes, and more. Read on to find out what all we have in store!
► 2 New Secondary Disasters!
- Half Health: Reduces the maximum health of all players to 5 hearts!
- Blackout: Applies blindness to all players until the next wave of disasters.
► New Map: Cruise Ship!
► Quality of Life
- Added a new powerup, Milk Bucket, which will remove any negative effects after being consumed.
- Secondary disaster chance has been increased from 50% to 75%.
- We're still looking for a good balance for this value and will continue to tweak as we add and adjust the disaster pool. Input on this change, as with other changes, is appreciated.
- Powerups that yield items may now be dropped to other players.
- Powerups no longer have additional spawn conditions. All powerup types can spawn at any time.
- Water placed from the Water Bucket powerup will no longer disappear, and will also now spread.
- The Werewolf is now given a player tracking compass as part of their kit.
- The tracker will not display distance, just the direction to the nearest player.
- The Swappage disaster is no longer persistent. It will end when the next disaster starts.
- The Dragons disaster will now always spawn 3 Ender Dragons regardless of the round.
- The Withers disaster will now always spawn 3 Withers regardless of the round.
- Splash Potions of Regeneration obtained from Vending Machines on Monorail have had their duration doubled (4s -> 8s).
► Bug Fixes
- Fall damage after being ejected by a Tornado is now correctly attributed to the Tornado disaster.
- Fall damage after being flung by an Ender Dragon is now correctly attributed to the Dragons disaster.
- Void damage after falling into a Sinkhole is now correctly attributed to the Sinkhole disaster.
- Damage taken by zombies during the Zombie Apocalypse now correctly apply knockback.
- Fixed Withers becoming bored and ignoring the last player alive.
- Fixed buckets not being removed from player inventories under special circumstances after using the Water Bucket powerup.
- Fixed being able to place water (from the Water Bucket powerup) on the outskirts of the map.
- Fixed Werewolf armor being transferred between games if the Werewolf leaves mid-game.
- Fixed players remaining on fire once the game starts if they were ignited during the pregame.
- Fixed Werewolves being targeted by Skeletons from Zombie Apocalypse, even if they inflicted no damage.
